Featured in Poorly done piece in latest Drum Magazine (p.60)

I guess now I know why Drum magazine is Drum magazine (know what I mean?)

Friend of mine alerted of a piece on me they saw in the latest Drum magazine. Naturally I copped the mag to see it only to learn of how badly it was done. 1st of all she refers to my debut album as “Book of Proverbs” then she writes as if to suggest that I meet with Gallo & Channel O every Tuesday (which is pure hogwash) I said I reserve my Tuesday mornings for meetings and appointments (didn’t specify who) Then I said we shoot Headrush commomly on Thursdays didn’t say we shoot every Thursday.

Then here’s the kicker, she asked me when was your last really dope performance and my off the head response was I recently performed at the Mos def concert and it was very dope! She then decides to make it seem as if every Friday I perform with Mos def!

Eish you know, the lack of professionalism makes it so difficult to be polite to journalists because you know you gon get misquoted anyway so they might as well write whatever!! Then she goes and uses an old publicity pic! didn’t even bother to call and ask for recent pics… I give up! (conviently they don’t even have a website so I can let ya’ll see this mockery)
